Luke Westwood takes the Mardave Mini Stox Championship 2009

Pro sponsored driver Luke Westwood takes the 2009 Mardave Mini Stox Championship in style running our Option flanged bearings for Mardave models. He also came 3rd overall in the Brushless hotrod class.

Today Liam was the class of the field racing at the MK Cup in Yeovil and won all 4 'A' qualifying heats and both 'A' Finals in the Mini class. He also broke the track record 4 times during those 6 runs!

We size up our bearings in the following way. We take the inner diameter then the outer diameter and add the width. So for example (inner)5mm X (outer)10mm X (width)4mm gives you the bearing size 5x10x4mm.

New Sponsored Drivers Edward Clark and Martin Reeder

Great news, to top driver joining our sponsored drivers team today. Edward Clark recently won the 13.5 class in the 2008/09 Carpet Wars championship, and has also been an A-finalist at the two SLCC rounds he competed in last year. He is also now part of the Horizon Hobby UK team for 2009. Those reader of RC Racer magazine may know Martin Reeder as he contributes regularly for the magazine. Currently racing in the Tamiya Cup in the stock class with Tamiya TB03 and TA05IFS cars, and was runner up in this class in 2007 (also 3rd in 2006). He has also been involved in organising the Tamiya Cup series for the past 3 years after being European scruitineer at the UK, Dutch and Portugese Tamiya Euro finals. He was the West Wilts Club champion in 2007. He also races in the Pro stock class at the CMCC Carpet Thrashnal series and tend to make the top dozen cars at most meetings with my Tamiya TB Evo 5 MS or Tamiya TRF416WE

Results for sponsored driver Lee Spencer
Lee entered the 2 day carpet wars competition at the maritime raceway in Gillingham, finishing 25th out of around 70 racers.
Today was the last round of the Schumacher indoor touring car championship which he has been attending. He managed to collect 7th overall in the championship. Best finish at one round was 3rd so with a bit more consistency hope to build on the 7th place next year.
